To start off our new topic, Year 2 have been geography detectives this week!
The children managed to look for clues in a photograph to successfully hunt out and walk to a mystery location... a local residential carpark! Using photographs we discovered that in 2015, where we were standing, there was a sinkhole caused by a mineshaft collapsing! Luckily, the sinkhole has been repaired and is back to looking like an ordinary carpark.
Juniper class performed a jump test on the carpark to make sure the repairs were nice and strong and the ground was very sturdy!
